Tweed-inspired shirts always find a home in our autumn/winter collections thanks to their textural and tonal fabrics. But while authentic woolen Scottish tweeds are wonderful, this Japan-woven tweed is crafted from 100% cotton and fairs far better for shirting. Soft to the touch and with a hefty drape, it still looks the part, but without the woolen itch . Woven with wonderfully vibrant glacial-blue yarns atop tonal greys and blacks, this tweed reinterprets the iconic Prince of Wales pattern with a contemporary twist. Large gauge mélange blended 2-ply yarns add heft and warmth, while a three-step brushing process increases insulation, softness, and helps add that signature tweed texture.
