Black Slubbed Twill Check

We have partnered with the same Japanese fabric mill for more than a decade now, tasking them with creating unconventional fabrics from the get go. This fabric is a perfect example of experimentation taken to the utmost echelon. It started with a simple conversation: “let’s make a really slubby flannel” we said, and our partner mill responded “like, really really slubby?”, “yup!” The result is a fabric with yarns so slubby that their gauge varies six-fold throughout each individual strand. It’s a bit nuts, but we love the texture these whacky yarns impart onto the fabric. Swatch size is 5" x 5" | 100% Cotton
