Alexander Girard "Village" Camp Shirt
Material: Cotton
Gender: Men
Season: SS24
Originally released during our SS24 collaboration with Alexander Girard, Village (1945) exemplifies Girard’s prophetic design style. Despite being designed nearly 80 years ago, Village and its bold, graphic elements looks incredibly contemporary. This print was originally developed by Girard during his tenure as the Head of Fabric and Textile Division at Herman Miller as upholstery fabric, and was offered in a variety of colorways. To continue Girard’s emphasis of quality craftsmanship, we had Village meticulously reengineered at our Italian partner mill on a summer-weight 100% cotton poplin. Each color was matched to its original Pantone and extra care was taken to ensure pigments hold fast and resist bleeding.
