AGES NY has built its reputation on uncompromising fabrics, unrivaled construction, and sharp tailoring without shying away from challenging convention. Their design approach doesn’t just subvert traditional tailoring; it also nods to the processes behind it. The GV x AGES Deco Oxford embodies this ethos. Originally crafted by Gitman Vintage, each Oxford shirt was reworked at AGES’ Brooklyn atelier and then reassembled into something entirely new. Two shirts became one, stitched together with raw-cut edges, cross-stitch accents, double-needle seams, and internal taping. These details simultaneously reinforce the shirt’s new construction while referencing the work that (re)created it. Because each shirt was reworked completely by hand, each will be unique. Pockets may not align perfectly, seams fray at different points, and panels meet each other with slight variance. But that's exactly why we love them.
