boohoo Women's Velvet Sequin Bow Back Mini Dress in Burgundy | Size: 6 | Polyurethane/Velvet

Product details

All-over sequin finish sits on a velvet base, giving the fabric a dense, light-catching texture that moves differently from flat sequin - it catches the light in clusters rather than sheets. The bow detail at the back adds a sculptural focal point that transforms the silhouette from behind - understated from the front, striking from behind. Slash neckline cuts clean across the collarbone, offering a wide, open line without being low-cut - a confident shape that works without a necklace. Long sleeves with a flared cuff give the dress a more considered feel than a standard going-out mini, balancing the short hemline with coverage through the arms. Mini length with a straight, close-to-the-body cut - it skims rather than clings, sitting just above mid-thigh for a shape that reads polished even at full sparkle. The bow at the back is the detail that sets this dress apart. From the front it reads sleek - the slash neck sits wide across the shoulders and the sequin velvet catches the light without overwhelming. Turn around and the whole look shifts. That bow pulls the eye and makes the back as considered as the front, which matters when you're moving through a crowd or on a dance floor. The long flared sleeves stop this from reading as a basic bodycon - there's a slightly retro, dressed-up quality to the silhouette that feels current without being try-hard. Style it with barely-there heeled sandals and a small shoulder bag to keep the focus on the dress itself, exactly as the model wears it here. Made for a night out, a birthday dinner, or any occasion where you want to walk in and have the outfit do the talking without saying too much. | boohoo Women's Velvet Sequin Bow Back Mini Dress in Burgundy.
