boohoo Women's Structured Lace Overlay Mini Dress in Black | Size: 4 | Fabric

Product details

Lace with fine, open-worked detailing covers the shoulders, chest and full-length sleeves - the intricate floral pattern sits sheer against the skin for a striking contrast with the solid mini skirt beneath. The cut-out panel between the lace yoke and the structured skirt is the centrepiece of the design - a sharp horizontal gap that breaks the silhouette in exactly the right place. High neck with a scalloped lace edge gives the neckline a refined finish, keeping the look polished even as the cut-out does the opposite. The mini skirt section is structured and close-fitting, sitting firmly at the thigh and holding its shape through the night without clinging awkwardly. Long lace sleeves extend to the wrist with a neat cuff edge - they add coverage without losing the sheer, delicate quality of the fabric. The lace sits light on the arms and across the chest, the open-worked weave giving it an airy quality that stops the long sleeves from feeling heavy. That sheer upper half does a lot of the work here - it means the dress reads as a going-out piece without needing any extra detail. The structured skirt grounds everything, keeping the silhouette tight and the hemline sitting just above the knee. Wear it with strappy heeled sandals and minimal jewellery to let the lace pattern speak for itself. A small shoulder bag or clutch finishes the look without competing. This one is built for evenings that start at a bar and go from there - a birthday night out, drinks with friends, or anywhere that calls for something that looks considered without being overdressed. | boohoo Women's Structured Lace Overlay Mini Dress in Black.
