boohoo Women's Plus Shoulder Pad Drape Short Sleeve Top in Black | Size: 12 | Faux Leather

Product details

Structured shoulder pads give the top a sharp, broad-shouldered silhouette that balances the waist and creates a strong upper-body line. Diagonal drape detail across the torso gathers fabric into soft, asymmetric folds - it draws the eye inward and defines the waist without any additional shaping underneath. Round neckline sits close to the collarbone, keeping the neckline clean and unfussy while the drape below does all the work. Short cap sleeves cut away at the arm, making the shoulder pad detail the focal point rather than letting the sleeve compete with it. The hem falls in an asymmetric sweep at the front, giving the top a slightly longer front profile that works well tucked or left out over high-waisted bottoms. The shoulder pads here aren't decorative - they create a deliberate, structured frame that sits in contrast to the softly gathered drape running across the body. That tension between sharp and draped is what makes this top feel considered rather than casual, even when worn with something as relaxed as wide-leg trousers or joggers. The way the fabric pools diagonally across the waist means it skims rather than clings, sitting comfortably across the midsection and moving naturally when you do. The model wears it with faux leather cargo trousers, which grounds the structured top in a casual setting - try the same formula with straight-leg jeans and trainers for a daytime look, or swap in tailored trousers and a heeled boot for an evening out with friends. It tucks neatly into high-waisted skirts too, with the asymmetric hem creating a subtle front tuck effect even when left loose. A top that does its best work when kept as the main event - minimal jewellery and a sleek bag let the structure speak for itself. | boohoo Women's Plus Shoulder Pad Drape Short Sleeve Top in Black.
