boohoo Women's Plus Rib Knit Boyfriend Cardigan in Black | Size: 12 | Polyurethane

Product details

Boyfriend fit with a relaxed, slightly oversized silhouette - the body sits away from the frame and the sleeves have a gentle drop to the shoulder, giving it that borrowed-from-the-wardrobe feel. All-over rib knit construction runs vertically through the body and sleeves, adding texture and helping the cardigan hold its shape wash after wash. Deep V-neckline opens the chest naturally, making it easy to layer over anything from a fitted crop to a shirt without bunching at the collar. Button-through front fastening with tonal, tortoiseshell-effect buttons - you can wear it fully open as a layer or do up the lower buttons for a more defined look. The spandex in the knit gives just enough stretch so it moves with you rather than pulling, which matters on a looser-cut piece like this. A cardigan like this earns its place on a lazy Sunday just as much as it does on a casual Friday. Throw it over a white ribbed crop top and wide-leg jeans - exactly as styled here - and you've got an outfit that looks considered without any effort. The boyfriend cut means it sits over the hips rather than clinging, so it works as a true layering piece through the cooler months. Wear it open over a slip dress as the temperature drops in the evening, or button the bottom two fastenings and tuck the front into high-waisted trousers for a slightly more pulled-together shape. It's the kind of knit that gets better the more you reach for it - great for family get-togethers, coffee runs, or any day where comfort is non-negotiable but you still want to look like you made an effort. | boohoo Women's Plus Rib Knit Boyfriend Cardigan in Black.
