boohoo Women's Plus Angel Sleeve Ruched Asymmetric Waist Maxi Dress in Chocolate | Size: 20 | Elastane/Polyurethane

Product details

Angel sleeves cut wide and short, falling away from the shoulder in a soft flutter that skims the upper arm rather than clinging to it Slinky fabric with elastane - it moves with the body, drapes rather than stiffens, and recovers its shape without bunching The wide ruched waistband is the defining detail: gathered horizontally across the midriff, it creates a defined waist while the fabric above blouses freely over it Asymmetric ruching pulls diagonally across the maxi skirt, giving the lower half a sculptural, draped quality that shifts as you move Crew neckline keeps the silhouette covered and refined - a deliberate contrast to the looseness of the sleeves and the drama of the skirt Floor-grazing length with a gentle sweep at the hem, sitting cleanly without excess volume This dress earns its place in the occasion wardrobe precisely because it does something most formal dresses don't - it looks considered without feeling restrictive. The blouson top half and the ruched, draped skirt work as two distinct elements that somehow resolve into a single, cohesive silhouette. Pair it with pointed-toe heels as the model does here, and the length hits perfectly. For a wedding or graduation ceremony, keep accessories minimal: a delicate strappy heel and simple drop earrings let the structure of the dress speak. It also works well for a formal evening event where floor length is expected but you want to avoid anything too stiff or overtly corseted. The stretch in the fabric means it travels well - no creasing on the way to the venue. Size up if you want more blouse in the top, size as normal if you prefer the waistband to sit snugly and define the waist more sharply. | boohoo Women's Plus Angel Sleeve Ruched Asymmetric Waist Maxi Dress in Chocolate.
