boohoo Women's Mesh Off-The Shoulder Ruched Mini Dress in Teal | Size: 10 | Mesh/Elastane/Polyurethane

Product details

Asymmetric off-the-shoulder neckline with a dramatic draped sleeve on one side - the fabric pools and falls away from the shoulder rather than sitting flat, giving the top half real movement against the fitted skirt below. All-over ruching runs the length of the body, pulling the mesh tight and creating a gathered texture that sits close to the body without restricting it. Mini length cuts above the mid-thigh, with the ruched hem sitting evenly across the front. Mesh construction adds a barely-there layered quality to the fabric - it catches the light subtly and has a slight stretch that moves with you. The elastane in the blend gives the dress enough give to hold its shape through the night without losing its structure. The draped sleeve is what makes this dress - one shoulder bare, the other carrying a soft billow of mesh that trails as you move. It's a single detail that does a lot of the talking, so the rest of the styling can stay clean. The model pairs it with strappy heeled sandals, which is exactly the right call: a barely-there heel keeps the focus on the dress and lets the leg show beneath the mini hem. A small clutch and simple jewellery - a fine chain or small hoops - are all this needs. This is a dress built for a night out where you want to look put-together without trying too hard: drinks with friends, a bar, a club. The ruching and mesh mean it sits well on the body all night, which matters when you're moving between a bar and a dance floor. | boohoo Women's Mesh Off-The Shoulder Ruched Mini Dress in Teal.
