boohoo Women's Collared Belted Wool Look Coat in Cream | Size: 10 | Denim/Polyurethane

Product details

Oversized lapel collar sits wide and flat across the shoulders, giving the coat its most defining architectural detail without any added hardware. The self-tie belt cinches at the natural waist - wear it loosely knotted for an effortless drape or pulled in tighter for a more defined silhouette. Longline cut falls well below the knee, with a soft drape and cool handfeel that skims the body rather than clinging to it. Straight sleeves with a clean cuff sit with just enough length to layer knits underneath - visible in the images with a striped long-sleeve peeking through. Wrap-front opening with no visible fastenings keeps the front face clean and minimal, letting the coat's shape do the work. The oversized lapel is what sets this coat apart from a standard wrap style - it pools generously at the chest and gives the whole piece a relaxed, borrowed-from-somewhere-better energy. The belt is the key tool here: knot it loosely at the front and the coat falls open and easy, pull it in and the silhouette sharpens up considerably. As seen on the model, it works brilliantly thrown over a striped long-sleeve top with wide-leg jeans and chunky trainers - that combination of the longline coat against a roomy denim leg reads really well. It's the kind of coat that works on a weekend market run, a casual lunch out, or layered over a hoodie on a cold commute. The clean, unfussy front means it photographs well and doesn't date quickly - a coat you'll reach for on rotation rather than saving for specific occasions. | boohoo Women's Collared Belted Wool Look Coat in Cream.
