boohoo Women's Check Pleat Mini Skirt in Brown | Size: 10 | Polyurethane

Product details

All-over check print with deep knife pleats that flare out as you walk, giving the skirt real movement from the hem. Sits low on the waist, keeping the silhouette relaxed rather than structured - the pleats do the shaping work instead. Mini length cuts well above the knee, making it a natural match for knee-high boots as seen on the model. The pleat construction means the skirt holds its shape without feeling stiff - it swings cleanly and lies flat when standing still. The stretch in the fabric means it moves with you rather than pulling across the hips, ideal for a full day out. This skirt slots straight into an autumn wardrobe without any effort. The check print means it already does the talking, so the pieces around it can stay simple. An oversized chunky knit tucked loosely at the front - exactly as the model wears it - is the easiest starting point, and knee-high buckle boots pull the whole look together into something that feels considered without being overdressed. For a cooler-weather edge, swap the knit for a fitted longline coat thrown over the top. Come warmer days, a fitted ribbed vest or a cropped fitted tee keeps things light. It works just as well at a weekend market or a casual lunch with friends as it does on a night out at a pub or bar. The pleat detail means it never reads as too basic, even when the rest of the outfit is stripped back to basics. | boohoo Women's Check Pleat Mini Skirt in Brown.
