boohoo Women's Bengaline Hook & Eye Halterneck Corset Top in Chocolate | Size: 12 | Elastane/Linen/Polyurethane

Product details

Deep V halterneck that wraps from the neckline across the chest, leaving the shoulders and back completely bare - the cut does the work without any added hardware. Hook-and-eye fastening runs down the centre front, creating a structured seam that draws the eye downward and gives the torso real definition. Bengaline fabric sits close to the body with a slight firmness - it holds its shape through the bust and waist rather than clinging or shifting throughout the day. A subtle peplum kick at the hem adds volume at the hip, balancing the tight, structured bodice above it. Slim fit through the torso with the stretch of elastane woven in, so it moves with you rather than pulling across the body. This top works hardest when it's treated as the focal point of an outfit rather than an afterthought. The model pairs it with wide-leg trousers - a combination that makes the most of the peplum hem, letting it sit neatly at the waistband without disappearing underneath. That same logic applies to high-waisted wide trousers, linen cargo trousers, or a midi skirt with an elasticated waist. The open back and halterneck mean layering over it isn't really the move - instead, let the top lead and keep everything else understated. Simple hoop earrings, as seen on the model, are all you need. It's well suited to casual evenings out, rooftop gatherings, or a night in with friends where you want to look put-together without trying too hard. Keep the footwear flat or low-heeled - strappy sandals or clean trainers both work depending on the occasion. | boohoo Women's Bengaline Hook & Eye Halterneck Corset Top in Chocolate.
