boohoo Women's Bengaline Button Front Full Skirt Shirt Dress in Chocolate | Size: 8 | Woven/Bengaline

Product details

Corset-style button-front bodice with structured boning detail that cinches the waist and creates a defined silhouette without a belt in sight. Bengaline fabric - a woven stretch fabric that skims the body with a soft drape and cool handfeel, holding its shape through the night rather than losing structure as the evening goes on. Gathered mini skirt falls from the dropped waist with generous volume, swishing as you move - a clear contrast to the fitted bodice above. Classic shirt collar with a deep V-opening at the chest adds a tailored edge to what is otherwise a very feminine silhouette. Long sleeves with a relaxed fit through the arm keep this one going-out ready even when the temperature drops. This dress earns its place at the front of the wardrobe because it does two things at once - the fitted corset bodice and the full, flouncy skirt create a shape that stands out without trying too hard. It works straight out of the bag with barely anything added: a pair of strappy heeled sandals and a small shoulder bag, much like the model wears it here, is genuinely all it needs. For a night out or drinks with friends, keep accessories minimal and let the structure of the dress do the talking. If you want to layer for the journey there, a fitted long-line coat worn open sits cleanly over the full skirt without fighting the silhouette. The shirt collar also means this one transitions into a smarter dinner setting without feeling out of place - swap the heels for a pointed kitten mule and it reads entirely differently. One dress, a lot of mileage. | boohoo Women's Bengaline Button Front Full Skirt Shirt Dress in Chocolate.
