boohoo Women's Batwing Funnel Neck Jacket in Plum | Size: 12 | Cotton/Polyurethane

Product details

Dramatically wide batwing sleeves sweep out from the shoulders, creating a voluminous silhouette that billows with movement rather than sitting stiff against the body. The funnel neck sits close to the throat and gathers softly when zipped all the way up, giving a cocooned, wrapped-in feel without the bulk of a hood. A front zip runs the full length of the jacket, so you can wear it fully open as more of a statement layer or closed up for warmth. The hemline is elasticated, drawing the volume in at the waist and stopping the batwing shape from overwhelming the frame entirely. 100% cotton throughout - both the outer shell and lining - means it breathes easily and sits soft against the skin, making it genuinely comfortable to wear across a full day. A jacket with this much shape works hardest when the rest of the outfit is kept simple. The model pairs it with slim-fit checked trousers, and that contrast is exactly right - the structured pattern of the trousers anchors the billowing top half without competing with it. Try it over a fitted ribbed top and straight-leg jeans for a weekend coffee run, or throw it over a simple midi dress for a casual family gathering where you want an outfit that looks considered without being overdressed. The cotton shell has a slight crinkle to it, so it holds its own without needing to be pressed - just pull it on and go. As a transitional layer it sits in a sweet spot: too interesting to be an afterthought, but relaxed enough that it never feels like you're trying too hard. | boohoo Women's Batwing Funnel Neck Jacket in Plum.
